My friends, one of the most intimate relationships God created can be found between a parent and a child. Parents naturally find satisfaction and enjoyment in nurturing and loving their children daily. Does this sound familiar in how Jesus Christ loves you?

As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the incredible privilege to share that same cherished relationship with our Creator. He is our loving Father who tends to our every need and longs for us to be near Him.

This remarkable privilege is only attainable by faith in Jesus Christ who destroyed the separation between man and God with His blood. What a blessing this is.

I am so thankful that through the beautiful gift of Christ, that we are given the excellent honor of the title, “the sons of God,” and given a place in the heaven.

My prayer is that we would look upon our Lord as a child looks to their parents. That we would come to Christ, and lead those without Christ, to the love given by His sacrifice on the Cross. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

Galatians 2:20 – “ I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (NIV)

In these sublime words, we are given profound insight concerning the grace of God at work through our intimate relationship with Christ.This majestic statement begins with our spiritual death, that another might live in and through our lives.

Finally, we are told how we are to respond, so this divine arrangement can proceed as intended.

My prayer is that we give thanks for Christ’s life in us. That we would live by faith in the Son of God. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

And so, we are made heirs in Him through His righteousness.

All His promises are become ours and we are become a great people, a great kingdom, and inheritors of the great heavenly land.

More so, we are granted the Spirit of faith. So go forth, you Christians, proclaiming the mercies of the Lord thereby increasing the very kingdom of God.

My prayer is that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith in Christ, and follow in the footsteps left for us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
