2 Timothy 4:18 Devotional

Hello my friends. Worry. Anxiety. Fear. Timidity. This is the way of the old man. Yet we, as believers, have been created anew to a heavenly life and spirit both bold and courageous.

No longer need we fear at all, for in the Lord we have become so much more than conquerors.

If God is for us—and He most certainly is—there is nothing to stand victorious against us. So fear not, O you redeemed, but rejoice in the mighty arm of the Lord!

I Invite You to Pray With Me

Our Heavenly Father, thank You for your protection from evil. We give the Glory to You Father. Let us not think it comes from us. May we go forth showing the love of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

Some of the specific reasons we need strength are listed in the immediate context of this verse.

Part of our calling as believers in Christ is passing on to others the biblical truths that God has taught us. “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2).

My prayer is that learn more about our calling as Christians, and walk with God through grace in His Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
