I wanted to bring you a verse this morning that would really get into your heart and mind. A verse to bring you to a point where you have to think about Christ’s sacrifice for you and me.
Just as a seed will never become a plant unless it “dies” and is “buried” so the death and burial of Jesus is necessary to His glorification.
Before the true power of the resurrection and fruitfulness of the sacrifices of Christ could be realized by you and me, there needed to be death.
My prayer is that we would turn to Christ this morning with such thanks and praise for doing what needed to be done, that we would have eternal life. As you go out this morning, go in the strength of Christ’s passion and sacrifice on the Cross. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
